The Silo

A personal finance platform built to answer two questions most budgeting apps dodge: where does the money really go, and exactly when does the debt end?

The challenge

Budgeting tools are everywhere, but most of them stop at categorizing last month's spending. The Silo needed something more ambitious: a product that gives people genuine transparency into their finances and a concrete, dated path out of debt. No off-the-shelf platform did it — so it had to be built.

What we built

Fragment Labs designed and engineered The Silo as a full SaaS product: secure user accounts, the financial engine that models spending and debt payoff over time, and the interface that turns those numbers into something people actually understand. The result is a product with a simple promise — "take your numbers back" — backed by real math.

Under the hood

The Silo runs as a containerized application on AWS, deployed through an automated pipeline so improvements ship continuously without downtime. It's built to grow: the same foundation that serves its first users is designed to serve its hundred-thousandth.

Where it stands

The Silo is live and taking on users today, and Fragment Labs remains its technical partner — shipping features, tuning infrastructure, and evolving the product as it grows.
